FASHION POSITIVE PLUS

Fashion Positive has launched a membership collaborative called PLUS.

PLUS is a community of pioneering brands, designers, and suppliers collaborating to catalyze systems change in fashion industry by transforming its material inputs.

We will do this using a volume collaboration methodology. Starting from the Fashion Positive Critical Materials List, PLUS Members will identify high-volume shared “building block" materials, and will work collaboratively to assess, improve and verify those materials using the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Standard—preparing them for the circular economy.

The Fashion Positive Critical Materials List represents high-priority, critical materials needed for circular fashion. This is not a preferred materials list, but a list that identifies materials urgently needed by the fashion industry to enable circularity. These critical fashion materials have been identified as having high potential to positively impact human and ecological health and catalyze systemic change for the industry.

PLUS Members will define their critical material workstreams, and will get a unique opportunity to accelerate change towards positive, circular fashion while sharing verification costs, effort and time with fellow industry leaders.

As we progress, PLUS Members will grow and utilize the Fashion Positive Materials Collection, a library of strategically important Cradle to Cradle Certified™ building block materials for apparel.

Verified circular materials are essential components of a global shift towards a sustainable, circular economy. Join PLUS to pioneer systemic change through the improvement of these critical materials, together.
